3P Paranormal conducted the investigation at the old Ashe County Hospital over a period of about 16 to 17 hours. We conducted the investigation in the bitter cold....January in the mountains of North Carolina are pretty cold. 3P captured some of the best evidence it has seen thus far. Our team had several personal experiences at the old hospital and we are thankful for the opportunity to investigate this county landmark. We look forward to investigating again when it isn't so cold. 
Construction on the original Ashe County Hospital began in the 1930's. The building was finished in 1942. The hospital had more than 50 rooms, an operating room, and the finest equipment that was available at that time. construction on a new hospital started in 1968, which will leave this building empty. The building has been used for various county offices for a while, but the building set unoccupied for some time, before becoming assisted living apartments.
